A fashion fad that has been going around here are hats with iron on patches. I do not think this trend will last too long. They are cute but with a cluster of different patches with funny sayings.
I decided to try a different approach to decorating a hat and grabbed my yarn. I crocheted a granny square and sewed it on the front of a hat. I used Fall colors to set the mood.
I like how it turned out. There is something about the country style vibes it’s showing off.
I thought I would try selling it in my Poshmark Closet on line. The hat costed me $2.99 from hobby lobby. I already had the yarn. It sold pretty quick for $15.00. Now I am wondering if I should make more. I think I might because it was fun to whip up and I could use the extra cash.
What do you think?

You definitely should! The granny square sweater trend was big in nyc a couple of years ago - I bet you could really do well with these!
ReplyDeleteI like the work on the hat. If they sell on the net keep it up! Shows some difference and the color on this one is good. Take care and watch for that cold headed our way.... Love from a warm Florida
