Look out, there is a new “beesness” in town. If you know me, you know I like all things natural. I also like to support small businesses and local markets. Well, let me tell you about this one. Honey Hollow Naturals. It’s all right there in the name. I love that they are local and even sold in local shops around my town right here in North Carolina. If you are looking for a gift or for yourself, items found here would be the perfect choice.
Here are a couple things I have tried already.
Everything Balm: A blend of bees wax, Tallow (which is vitamins believed to offer benefits for skin), plant butters and oils, and herbal infusions. It offers deep hydration and gentle healing for everything from insect bites, skin irritations and even on lips. Honey Hollow Naturals also offers a great lip balm if your lips is all you care about.
For me: I love how this stuff smells. It has a sweet but earthy aroma thats calm and does not linger around. I have used the Everything Balm under my eyes in the mornings under my make up and at night before bed. It makes my eyes feel relieved. For me, it adds some tightness to my skin and makes it soft without a greasy feeling. I have also used it on my eyebrows. I know, that sounds silly but it’s natural and helps shape my natural brow. Men, It’s not just for the face or used as a beauty product, I’m just weird like that. This stuff literally can be used for anything.
Pine Pitch Salve: This stuff is wild harvested which means she goes out and finds it herself. (How cool is that?)The Pine Pitch is enriched with calendula, lavender and also infused with chamomile which makes it great for insect bites, Poison Ivey, and minors scrapes. It is even known to show positive benefits for discomfort from arthritis and sore joints.
For me: I am not too fond of the smell of this one. It does not smell bad, it just has a little more earthy aroma than the Balm. However, it has been very beneficial to me, and for that, I love it.
I have used the Pine Pitch Salve on a small bug bite ( I think it was a bug), on my ear lobe where an earring was making it sore and I even used it on a fever blister (cold sore) that had developed on my lip. For the fever blister , I just applied it liberally on the area and it relieved the pain and discomfort in a matter of seconds. I also think it caused faster healing. This will be my “go to” if I get another one.
Lotion Bars: Made with tallow, oils such as joboba, apricot kernel seeds, sweet almond and a blend of unrefined cocoa, kokum and mango butter. These bars are not too greasy as Kaolin clay was added.
For me: I loved the smell of these lotion bars with under notes of cocoa and sweet almond. They are soft and silky and left my skin feeling so soft. At first I thought it might be too greasy but after few minutes it absorbed into my skin leaving it moisturized all day long. The smell stayed on my skin for hours. These are perfect to leave by your bed side, tub or toss in your purse for on the go. I believe these can also be found in a roll on stick.
I would think Honey Hollow Naturals would be great for all skin types as everything is natural with no harsh chemicals. Honey Hollow Naturals is new, so there are new, improved and different products currently in the making. You can visit the links below to see and read more about her products.
Come on, go show some love then tell those you know what all the “buzz” is about.
