TBB Ask- How Do you Cozy?

What do you mean its already September? Where did summer go? It's Time for bonfires, football and pumpkin spice. It's also time to pull out the cozy things stored in your closet and enjoy a cool night on the porch. This lead me to join in on this months TBB ask.

The first Monday of each month, the ladies of "The Blended Blog" host a linkup with fun themed questions and answers to write about and share. Enjoy.

Septembers TBB Ask- How Do You Cozy?

Q. Slippers: Yes or No?
A. Sometimes, but id rather wear my soft and fluffy no skid socks. I like to put my feet under me as I cuddle up for a movie.

Q. What is your Favorite Blanket?
A. I have a small lightweight reversible down throw my mom got me a few years ago. It heats up fast with my body temperature. It's the perfect size for one. I call it "my sleep blanket" because it never fails, every time I toss it over me, I fall asleep.

Q. Thin or Thick Pillow?
A. Thin. I could actually sleep without a pillow. I do not like a thick pillow that my face will bury into. I do not like anything on or around my face while I sleep.

Q. Favorite Warm Beverage?
A. Coffee in the morning but at night, there is nothing like getting cozy with a cup of warm chocolate.

Q. Robe: Yes or No?
A. No. The name "house coat" fits the title better. I hate to wear any kind of coat

Q. Favorite Comfort Snack Food(s)?
A. I love to snack on a bowl of popcorn with lots of butter.

Q. Movies or TV Series Binge?
A. Me and my husband have our favorite TV series. We never really watch movies but when I want to relax and get cozy, I put him in what he calls "Hallmark hell".

Q. Actual PJs or Leggings?
A. PJ bottoms with a t-shirt is my favorite outfit. I like to look halfway decent in case someone comes to the door.

Q. Do you Cozy up on the Couch or Chair?
A. I have my own recliner. It has heated seats and a message button. Can't get any better than that right?

Exact recliner I have can be found Here

Q. Hoodie, Tshirt or Sweater?
A. A t-shirt is my pick to wear inside. If I go out, I like an over-sized sweater made of cotton and no collar. Has to be cotton. Maybe a hoodie at a ballgame but I hate how the hoods pull the shirt close to my neck. Eek!

What is your favorite way to "cozy"?

My New iPhone Gadget

I’ll admit. I take lots of selfies. No one else can take a selfie of me, like me. Is that weird? Yes I think it's very weird that people snap pictures of themselves. I can’t believe that I actually will do this.
I will even take a selfie in front of people! I remember the days where I would hide from any camera much less take a photo of myself! I will take a dozen before I decide one looks ok enough to make a profile photo for social media. Until recently, I hid from cameras. I'm learning to have a better self esteem and not be so critical on how I look.

My daughter was always my photographer but now she no longer lives in the house. Now I have no one to take any pictures of me. My husband is not qualified.
You might wonder why this is important to me. Well I promise I do not think I look good on camera nor do I think I half way qualify as a model.
You see, I get asked sometimes to take promotional photos of myself. Once I had to do a video for social media. For the video, I literally tied my phone to a pole with a hair band. It was awkward and the video was not so good.

Recently, I have been asked to do more social media promoting so I figured I may need more to work with. I went online and started looking around for ideas.
I came across this flexible “Octopus Tri-Pod” for my iPhone.
I even have a cool little blue tooth remote to snap the photos with. How cool is that?

This cute little tripod only cost me four bucks and I’m already loving it and haven't even used it yet. It can bend and rotate in many different angles and I can use it anywhere.
I do own a digital camera, but my iPhone seems to take better pictures than my little Cannon.

Being only 6 inches tall, It's portable, so can throw my personal photographer in my tote and take it with me on the road if I need too. I'm actually thinking of making a few fashion post soon. I just have to get the courage up first.

This little doohickey will be perfect for those fashion bloggers or those who just want to take a fun selfie or still video.

(I’m laughing now because spell check just corrected my spelling of "doohickey". It must be from the South too. Haha.)

Lil Camper Dreamin

People who have never camped will not get this...I have been going camping now for 18 years. We own a nice big travel trailer that we keep stored at our favorite vacation spot. I have grown to love camping. Its nice to have your own little place with our own bed and toilet.

Speaking of "own little space", I have gotten a fever for wanting just that. If you follow me on Pinterest, you will notice I have pinned a lot of tiny little  campers lately. My favorite is the Canned Ham type. They are tiny little 10 to 13 ft  vintage campers. They are just so darn cute. I don't know what hit me, but when I seen this, I wanted one for myself. Not saying I want to be alone, even though sometimes its nice, Im just saying I want a big/little project of my own.

I keep thinking how fun it would be to find one that I can play with. Just a shell of one would be great so I could restore it to my liking. I could not do it in the neighborhood I live in now, but I would love to have one in the back yard just as a resort. A place to think, doll it up, and decorate it in a girly fashion (sorry Husband). But think about it, men have their "man caves", garages, sheds, and workshops. So, why cant a woman have her doll house? Come on girls, you know all of us wanted a doll house at one time or another. This would be a great get-away to read, craft, nap, study, quite time with my husband or just to have a fun get together with girl friends. hmmm wonder just how much gossip and secrets this little thing would hold?

I have this bike! Wheels are turning

I remember drinking Shasta from a tin can.

This is too cute. On the link, there are more inside pictures to see.

I love the chalkboard on the inside of the door idea here.

Inside a little Shasta. I love the arrangement in this one. More pictures on the link.
If me and my husband ever decided to go somewhere for a quick over night trip, we could just hook it up to the back of the truck and go. It would be perfect on the side of a lake with a campfire and fishing poles. Hey im up for anything.  My daughter is 23 and still living at home. We need a quick resort sometimes.

This is perfect! Crafty mind overload!

The inside colors I would use would be aquas, greys, and a splash of yellow or red.
I could go on and on. The possibilities are endless. Just Google or go to Pinterest and search "tin can campers" and see what happens. Just be careful and don't get suck in and get a fever like I did.

Maybe one day....Maybe one day I can have a ten foot, tin can condo of my own.
