It takes longer but it cooks while we're working and it's easy to prepare when we're ready. 15 bean soup os one of my faves.Rick Watsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01005727239466916086noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-416472510902493911.post-47488424392600078672016-01-15T19:01:57.397-05:002016-01-15T19:01:57.397-05:00you might be right about the soak up part. :) you might be right about the soak up part. :) Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03109633602729593188noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-416472510902493911.post-32388570222466461172016-01-15T17:03:36.387-05:002016-01-15T17:03:36.387-05:00Well, I guess is will not link up. What a disappointment. At least yours was a cup, not a casserole. I was wondering is you let the bread cubes soak up some of the egg mixture for a few minutes like the regular preparation technique. I hope you try it again, it looks like it would taste great. If you want to see my "flop" I think you can see on this link. http://everydaydelight09.blogspot.com/2011/02/whats-she- cooking.html Thanks for sharing your idea.Maryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17326405302018596028noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-416472510902493911.post-45809990283674472822016-01-15T15:40:34.348-05:002016-01-15T15:40:34.348-05:00Aww that is too bad it didn't work out! I am not a French toast guy, I think we call it egg toast? Is that the same? I just flop it in the pan. Sherry steers clear of the microwave for what she calls real cooking. I do Rice in the MW but she prefers it stove top.<br />But the good point is you do experiment, and even if it is a 'looks failure' the taste worked okay!
