Friday Bowl- Bread Bowl with Nutrisystem

Today's Friday bowl has a different twist. I am sharing how I took the Nutrisystem “ChockFul of Veggie Chili” and added it to a hollowed out bread bowl.

I like Chili but I can not eat it without some sort of bread. I grabbed a roll from the grocery store deli and scooped out most of the inside to eliminate calories leaving the shell as a bowl. You can do this with other chilis or soups for a fun delicious meal.

  2. As far as I remember I cannot remember having a bread bowl. THAT does look delicious. We were just talking about you and comments. It is hard for us humans to think ahead. 1-2 lbs a week sounds SLOW until you think of gaining 1-2 lbs a week to get there. We all feel better to see the scale 1-2 lbs DOWN!
Anyway you are one of our heroes and know you are to your family.
    Love from central Florida.

  3. Your bread bowl with chilli looks delicious, I will have to try it I think soup are beef stew would taste great also. I had to have a procedure done in Dothan Monday and still trying to get better my sister-in-law brought me some camp stew yesterday and it was so good. It has been a cold wet week down here in Alabama. Take care!

  4. Yum. I want to make a vegetarian chili after the Holidays and this is a good idea! I am like that with soups, gotta have good bread with it! I read your post about having cabin fever! I get that way working from home and I will get out of house to do errands which helps!
    Happy Holidays Lisa!
